

At the CEC's initiative, the working meeting was held at the Supreme Election Commission of the Autonomous Republic of Ajara, bringing together the CEC and SEC leadership and the chairpersons of all six District Election Commissions operating in Ajara.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the central and regional levels of the election administration, common priorities, practical needs, and effective coordination mechanisms. Particular attention was paid to strengthening mechanisms to expand electoral opportunities, promote active public involvement in electoral processes, counter disinformation, and use modern technologies and international best practices.
CEC Chairperson Giorgi Kalandarishvili noted that such dialogue is important for further strengthening professional cooperation between the CEC and the SEC.
SEC Chairperson Paata Keshelava thanked the CEC leadership for initiating the meeting and noted that the SEC will continue close coordination with the CEC and the District Election Commissions.
Both parties agreed to maintain regular working sessions, share expertise, and foster professional dialogue to further elevate the standards of election administration.
